Mantra DAVOS 7822 is an outdoor LED wall light with a rectangular aluminium body in a corten finish. Its plain front conceals the light sources from a frontal view, while the open upper and lower edges let light draw patterns on the wall. This is a wall-mounted fitting rather than a street lantern for a pole.

A corten finish on an aluminium body

Corten describes the brown finish of this version, not a weathering-steel construction. The manufacturer's photographs show a finely textured surface and straight edges without decorative trim. That restrained geometry suits modern and minimalist facades, particularly where the lighting effect should be more prominent than the fitting itself.

The housing measures 20 cm across, 10 cm high and 10 cm deep. Compare its projection with the available space beside doors and along passageways before choosing a mounting position. The 20 cm measurement describes the horizontal front, not the height of the light.

Integrated LEDs with neutral white light

Article 7822 has a rated LED power of 24 W, a colour temperature of 4000 K and a declared luminous flux of 2200 lm. Its neutral white light distinguishes it from warmer versions in the DAVOS collection. When matching several fittings, check the individual article numbers rather than relying on the family name alone.

The LED source is already integrated, so there is no screw-base bulb to select separately. The manufacturer does not specify normal user replacement of the source. This version is not dimmable and should not be chosen for an installation that requires brightness adjustment through a dimmer.

Planning an outdoor wall installation

Its IP54 rating and stated outdoor use support installation on a facade, a terrace or balcony wall, or a masonry boundary wall, subject to the conditions at the chosen location. It operates on 220–240 V. As a class I fitting, it requires a protective earth connection in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.
