Mean Well LRS-75-12 constant-voltage power supply, 12 V DC, 72 W

The Mean Well LRS-75-12 is a constant-voltage power supply listed by KLUŚ under reference 60015. It delivers 12 V DC with a rated output of 72 W. Its silver perforated steel housing and accessible terminal block identify it as an electrical installation component rather than a standalone light fitting.

Matching a 12 V installation

This version has a maximum output current of 6 A. When choosing an LED strip or another connected load, check both its requirement for 12 V DC and the combined demand of all the connected components. LRS-75 identifies the power-supply family; the actual rated output of this particular version remains 72 W. It is not a substitute for a 24 V supply or a constant-current driver.

The output voltage can be adjusted between 10.2 and 13.8 V. This adjustment matches the voltage to the load's requirements and should not be interpreted as a lighting-dimming function. KLUŚ specifies on/off control. Any brightness control required for the complete installation therefore needs to be considered separately.

Allowing space for the housing and wiring

The enclosure measures 99 mm long, 97 mm wide and 30 mm high. Compare all three measurements with the planned installation space before ordering. Also allow for access to the terminals and the route taken by the cables. The manufacturer specifies screw fixing. As this is a technical power component, a decorative interior style is not a meaningful criterion for choosing it.

The input accepts 85–264 V AC. Connection to the mains requires correct wiring, including the protective-earth conductor in accordance with the terminal markings. IP20 does not provide protection against water. This supply should therefore not be selected as an independently protected unit for an exposed garden installation.

Airflow and protective functions

Cooling uses natural air convection without a fan. The perforated housing is not a sealed enclosure. Mean Well documents short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection. These functions do not replace checking the connected equipment's voltage, making the wiring correctly or matching the total load to the rating of this exact version.
