MOSS 6355ST is an outdoor recessed light with a round stainless steel front plate 130 mm in diameter. Behind a clear safety glass cover sits an LED module with a reflector whose beam direction can be adjusted, including in the vertical plane. The body hidden in the recess is powder-coated cast aluminium.
How it is installed
The light fits into a cut-out 110 mm in diameter and 85 mm deep, where spring clips hold it in place. The body itself is 65 mm deep. A 0.3 m H05RN-F 3G1 cable leaves the light and is connected in a suitably chosen junction box — the manufacturer offers connection box 145 for this, sold separately.
It is a protection class I luminaire, so it must be connected to the protective earth conductor. IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK06 means resistance to impacts of up to 1 J.
What light it gives
The integrated LED module is rated at 4 W and the whole light draws 4.2 W. The source produces 439 lm, and 382 lm leaves the light in a symmetrical 36° beam. A beam this narrow lights a defined part of the surroundings rather than the whole area around the fitting. 3000 K is a warm white light.
The light can be dimmed with a phase dimmer: it works with both trailing-edge (TE) and leading-edge (LE) dimmers, so it suits both common types of controller. The LED module is integrated and is not replaced by the user — only the professional Norlys service replaces it. The manufacturer states an L70 module lifetime of 59,000 h.
Where it fits
The manufacturer intends MOSS 6355 for lighting gardens, private grounds and architectural projects, including at venues such as hotels and restaurants. The form is modern: a flat, round front in natural stainless steel without ornament, with visible fixing screws.
