NORLYS Asker DC5120BL black LED bollard light 55 cm 4000 K 24 V

The NORLYS Asker DC5120BL is a 55 cm LED bollard with a rectangular body and a flat, projecting head. Its cast-aluminium housing is powder-coated in black RAL 9005. Straight edges and the right-angled silhouette distinguish it from a traditional garden lantern with a decorative top.

Light directed towards the ground

Two integrated LED modules provide neutral-white light at 4000 K. The light is shielded and directed downwards, so the surface around the bollard is the relevant starting point for a lighting plan, rather than tall garden features. The complete luminaire delivers 563 lm. The separate 1130 lm figure refers to the light sources themselves and should not be confused with the output leaving the luminaire. Luminaire power is 8.65 W.

This construction suits garden paths, terrace edges and areas beside a driveway. Select the number of bollards and their spacing for the actual surface and lighting design; a single fitting should not be assumed to illuminate an entire property. NORLYS specifies ULOR 0%, meaning no light output is emitted directly upwards.

Plan an external 24 V supply

This version requires an external constant-voltage 24 V DC power supply. It must not be connected directly to a 230 V mains supply. The LED modules support dimming, but the control arrangement depends on the chosen power supply and installation design. Power-supply selection and installation must be carried out by a suitably qualified person. The LED light sources are replaceable by a professional service, rather than being ordinary screw-in bulbs for user replacement.

Mounting space and architectural form

Alongside its 55 cm height, allow for a width of 20 cm and a depth of 11 cm. Mounting uses four 8 mm holes with an 18 × 50 mm spacing. Anchors, adapters and other installation accessories are purchased separately. The instructions also state that mounting screws are not included, so those components need to be considered before installation.

The IP65 rating and IK10 impact resistance support outdoor use. The cover is transparent, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. A straight vertical body and horizontal head make this a modern, minimalist choice for an exterior scheme based on geometric forms.
