NORLYS Asker Pole Pro 5206 LED Lighting Pole, Graphite, 350 cm, 19.4 W, 3000 K, 5206GR

The Asker Pole Pro 5206 is a complete Norlys lighting pole, 350 cm tall, with an integrated LED luminaire on a 39 cm arm. The pole is built from two segments of extruded aluminium profile, powder-coated graphite (RAL 7016), and ends in a flat L-shaped head with a sealed clear PMMA lens on its underside.

How much light and what kind

The integrated Philips LED module draws 16.8 W and the whole luminaire 19.4 W, delivering 2616 lm at 3000 K, a warm white light. The Ledil T2-L lens gives an IESNA type III distribution: wide and stretched along a path or driveway. Only 0.88% of the light goes above the horizontal, so the pole does not shine into windows or the sky. The colour rendering index is Ra 70.

The luminaire dims on a phase-cut dimmer, both trailing edge (TE) and leading edge (LE), so it works with either type of dimmer. The LED module and the driver are replaced by a professional service; Norlys states an L90B10 lifetime above 100,000 h and offers service kit ZS5206zx0011.

Installation and what you need to buy

The base has four holes for M14 studs at 180 × 180 mm spacing and fits the B 50 foundation. No anchor is included: the options are mounting adapter 1259, ground anchor 180 and concreting anchor 3091. The pole's lateral surface is 0.39 m², the figure a foundation is sized on for wind load.

The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm² and allow the supply to loop through to the next pole, so a row of poles along a path runs on one supply line. The gland takes a round cable of ø8–12 mm or ø10–13.6 mm. The pole is protection class I, so it needs an earth conductor and must be installed by a qualified electrician. IP65 sealing and an IK08 impact rating let it stand in open ground.

Where it fits

Norlys designs the pole for private grounds, parks and architectural schemes; it suits garden paths, parks and the approaches to hotels and restaurants. The pole weighs 11 kg net and ships in a box 232.5 cm long.
