Norlys Bologna 3026BC is a single-arm light head for installation on a lighting pole, with an opal globe and a decorative support. Its black finish with copper patina brings out the traditional shape of the body. This is a component for a pole lighting assembly and is supplied without a bulb.

A head for a separately selected pole

The 3026 is intended for mounting on a lighting pole. Its single globe sits above an arm with a curved brace and an ornamental end, giving the fitting a distinct side profile even when the light is off. Consider that outline together with the appearance of the pole when planning the assembly.

The pole and the appropriate connecting component must be selected separately. The light head alone does not form a complete freestanding garden lantern. Check the mounting arrangement against the proposed assembly before ordering; selecting this component does not replace choosing the pole and its foundation or fixing method.

Choose the bulb and light colour separately

The E27 socket takes an LED bulb rated at a maximum of 9 W, in an A55–A60 shape. No light source is included, so a suitable bulb must be purchased before the fitting can be used. Light colour and brightness depend on that bulb. The 9 W figure is the permitted bulb rating rather than a fixed consumption figure for the complete assembly.

The milky PMMA globe diffuses the light and obscures a direct view of the bulb. The threaded light source can be replaced by the user without replacing the entire head. Keep to the same socket, permitted shape and power limit when buying its replacement.

A traditional finish for outdoor lighting

The body is powder-coated cast aluminium. Copper patina describes the finish of this BC version. A silicone gasket accompanies the opal globe, while IP54 provides protection against dust and splashing water for outdoor use. The spherical shade and decorative arm suit a traditional lighting assembly beside a garden path or entrance.
