Frigga 2150CG is a bollard light 50 cm tall: a painted aluminium profile in cement grey, topped with a satin glass head through which the light leaves in every direction. The base occupies a 14 × 14 cm square.
How it is installed
The fitting is bolted down permanently: the base has three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. The bollard itself comes with no anchor — Norlys sells the concreting anchor, the ground anchor, the foundation adapter and the mounting adapter separately, so how it will be footed is a decision to make before buying.
The terminal takes conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allows the supply to be looped through to the next fitting, which matters for a run of bollards along a path. A round-sheathed cable fits up to ø12.5 mm. The fitting weighs 6.6 kg.
How much light it gives and how it is controlled
The light source is built in permanently and cannot be swapped like a bulb. The manufacturer quotes 322 lm at 4.9 W drawn by the whole fitting and an efficiency of 65.7 lm/W — a brightness that marks the edge of a path and lifts the ground around the bollard, rather than replacing the lighting of a whole driveway.
3000 K is warm white, and colour rendering of Ra 80 is enough for planting and paving. The fitting is built for dimming to the DALI2 standard, so wired into a DALI installation it can run at several brightness levels through the night.
Durability and construction
IP65 means complete protection against dust and against jets of water, so it works in the open with no cover. Impact resistance is IK06. The fitting is protection class I and therefore needs a connection with an earth conductor.
The body is painted aluminium with an EPDM gland; the head is glass satined on the inside. The manufacturer notes that the diffuser may take on an amber tone over time. The form is Scandinavian: a plain square profile without ornament.
