NORLYS London Big 4144WH garden lantern, white, LED 3000 K, 64 cm

The NORLYS London Big 4144WH is a standing garden lantern with a four-sided glazed head and a pitched roof. Its cast aluminium body is powder-coated white in RAL 9003. The moulded base and finial reinforce its classical English character.

Size and installation position

The lantern stands 64 cm high and has a maximum footprint of 30 × 30 cm. Before installation, compare the width of the head with the surface of the wall or platform where it will stand. The manufacturer allows fixing to the ground, a low wall, a platform or another prepared structure.

It is intended for gardens and terraces; the classical form also suits outdoor hotel and restaurant areas. This is not a portable lamp: the base has two 5.5 mm fixing holes spaced 90 mm apart. Prepare the base and cable before securing the fitting.

Warm light without a separate bulb

The integrated LED module is included, so there is no separate bulb to purchase. A colour temperature of 3000 K gives warm white light. The complete lantern emits 756 lm, while the module itself produces 1100 lm. These figures describe output measured at different points.

The fitting consumes 9.3 W. Its module is not replaced like a screw-in bulb; the manufacturer specifies replacement by a professional service. When planning several lighting points, distinguish this LED version from a similar-looking lantern with an E27 socket.

Housing protection and connection

IP54 protects against harmful quantities of dust and splashing water. The lantern requires a 230 V supply. Protection class II denotes double or reinforced insulation, distinguishing it from fittings that require a protective earth conductor.

The terminals accept conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm² and allow loop-through connection to the next fitting. The manufacturer specifies a round cable with an outside diameter of 7–10.5 mm. Account for that range when preparing the connection.
