Moss 6376BL is an outdoor recessed light with a round black front 12 cm in diameter (RAL 9005). The body is powder-coated cast aluminium, the front is powder-coated steel, and the LED module sits behind clear safety glass. The light source is built in, so there is no bulb to buy.
Installation
The fitting goes into a cut-out 110 mm in diameter and 85 mm deep; the body itself is 7 cm high. It comes with 0.3 m of H05RN-F 3G1 cable, connected to the mains in a separate junction box. The manufacturer sells that box as an accessory (145ZX0009); it is not included. The module tilts, so the beam can be aimed at a wall, a plant or an entrance. This is a protection class I luminaire, so the PE earth conductor must be connected.
What light it gives
The 8 W LED module, with the whole fitting drawing 8.4 W, gives 752 lm at 4000 K, a neutral white, with CRI 80. The beam angle is 36°, so it throws a defined pool of light rather than a diffuse glow. It is a fitting for accenting architectural and garden features. The manufacturer states an L70 module lifetime of 59,000 hours.
It can be dimmed with a phase (TRIAC) dimmer, either trailing-edge or leading-edge, so it works with most dimmers found in home installations.
Durability
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. Impact resistance is IK06, which is moderate, so the fitting is better placed where it will not be kicked or struck by garden tools.
