NORLYS Skara 2937BL black LED bollard light 85 cm 4000 K

NORLYS Skara 2937BL is a black LED bollard light standing 85 cm tall, with a rectangular body and a short projecting head. The BL variant has a RAL 9005 finish. Its body is made from powder-coated extruded aluminium, while a transparent PMMA lens protects the optics underneath the head.

Directing light along a route

The Ledil SCL lens provides an IESNA Type II / III distribution. This is not a globe that sends the same light in every direction: the orientation of the head matters when planning a garden path, terrace edge or driveway. The manufacturer supplies photometric files for calculating spacing against the actual shape of the surface. Bollard height alone is not a reliable basis for deciding the distance between fittings.

The integrated LEDs produce neutral white light at 4000 K. The complete luminaire delivers 730 lm; the separately stated 856 lm refers to the source rather than the light leaving the fitting. Total power consumption is 7.7 W. This version supports trailing-edge phase dimming, so the specified control method needs to be considered when selecting the lighting controls.

A rectangular outline outdoors

The dimensions of 12 × 24 × 85 cm let you check the space available beside paving before installation. A narrow upright body and flat head give it a modern, minimalist outline with a Scandinavian character, rather than a decorative lantern shape. IP65 protection and IK08 impact resistance are confirmed for this outdoor fitting. Position it outside pedestrian routes and areas needed for vehicle manoeuvres.

Fixed mounting and professional servicing

This is a permanently mounted bollard, not a portable floor lamp. The base has four 7 mm fixing holes spaced 64 × 64 mm apart. It requires a 220–240 V supply. The 2934 concrete anchor is sold separately, and the kit does not include ground fixing pins.

The LED module and control gear can be replaced by a professional service provider. This version does not take an ordinary screw-in bulb. Installation planning should therefore cover a suitable mounting surface, appropriate fixings and access for servicing in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
