Vasa 452BL is a half-cylinder outdoor wall light 31 cm wide, in cast aluminium powder-coated black (RAL 9005). It is closed underneath by a clear textured diffuser of UV-stabilised polycarbonate, so the light goes downward only.
How it lights
The integrated LED module draws 12.8 W and the luminaire delivers 939 lm — a little more than an old 60 W bulb, enough to light an entrance, the wall beside a door or part of a driveway. 3000 K is a warm white. A ULOR of 0% means no light goes upward; the diffused, hemispherical light falls on the wall and the ground below. SDCM3 means several of these lights side by side shine in practically the same shade of white.
Control and service
The driver supports DALI2, so dimming needs a DALI controller — an ordinary phase dimmer will not work. The LED is built in: the module and driver are replaced by a professional service, not by the user. The manufacturer quotes an LED life of over 102,000 h (L80) and 100,000 h for the driver.
Mounting and connection
It is fixed either through an intermediate plate with two 5×10 mm adjustment slots at 45 mm spacing, or directly with two ø5 mm holes at 68 mm spacing. The terminals take cable up to 3 × 2.5 mm², or up to 3 × 1.5 mm² when looping on to further luminaires; the gland fits cable of 7–10.5 mm diameter. It is protection class I, so it must be connected to a protective earth. Norlys allows up to 30 of these luminaires on one B16A breaker.
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK08 describes the housing's impact resistance — relevant for a wall light mounted low beside an entrance.
