AMELIA 10497 is a 100 cm garden bollard light: a black lacquered aluminium column on a hexagonal base, topped by a lantern with a clear PC diffuser and a domed cap. It is built for a single E27 lamp, which is not supplied.
How tall it is and how it goes in
The post stands 100 cm high on a base 17.5 cm across. At that height the light falls on the surface around the fitting rather than across the whole garden β this is path, driveway and terrace-edge lighting. The same lantern comes in a 200 cm version (symbol 10498) for covering a wider strip.
Mounting is direct: the base is bolted to prepared ground, and the manufacturer packs the mounting kit in the box along with the instructions and the installation manual. The fitting weighs 1.2 kg net and 1.68 kg boxed. Protection class I means an earth conductor has to reach the terminals, so the circuit must be earthed.
Which lamp it needs
There is one E27 lampholder inside, and the manufacturer permits LED lamps only, up to 10 W. No lamp is included, so you choose the light colour yourself: 2700 K gives warm, slightly yellow light close to an old incandescent bulb, 4000 K a neutral light that picks out the surface more sharply.
The diffuser is clear over its full height, so light goes sideways as well as down and the lamp itself is visible from outside β its appearance becomes part of the lantern's.
Build and outdoor use
Column and cap are lacquered aluminium in black, the diffuser is PC plastic. The manufacturer rates the fitting for outdoor use at IP44, which is protection against splashing water from any direction: rain does it no harm, but it is not rated for jets of water or for immersion.
The shape is classic β a hexagonal base, a plain column and a capped lantern, with no ornament beyond the form itself. Supply is ~220-230 V at 50/60 Hz.
