Nowodvorski FOURTY XL 10898 surface-mounted ceiling light, silk grey, 110 cm, GU10 R35 Promo Code 🚀- NOVO15 until the end of Oct 25

Nowodvorski FOURTY XL 10898 is a surface-mounted ceiling light with a long, narrow cylindrical body and a light opening at its lower end. The painted aluminium housing has a silk grey P026 finish, identified by the manufacturer as RAL 7044. At 110 cm high and just 4 cm wide, this version is distinguished by its vertical proportions rather than a broad shade.

Allow for the full 110 cm drop

The fitting mounts directly to the ceiling. Before deciding where it should go, compare its full height with your ceiling height and the clearance needed beneath it. A narrow body does not make this a shallow ceiling fitting. In an entrance hall or corridor, the lower end must be considered carefully in relation to the route people use.

It can provide an additional light point for a selected area in a kitchen, living room or bedroom. The manufacturer also identifies kitchen islands as an application. Consider the electrical outlet position, ceiling height and intended illuminated area together, rather than choosing a location solely because the tube is slim.

Choose a separate GU10 R35 LED lamp

There is one replaceable light source position for a GU10 R35 LED lamp rated at no more than 10 W. The lamp is not included. The R35 designation matters when buying the light source: select this format for the narrow fitting, rather than assuming that any lamp with a GU10 base is suitable.

Brightness and colour temperature depend on the lamp you buy. The grey finish does not determine the colour of the emitted light, and FOURTY XL is not an integrated LED fitting with fixed light specifications. A replaceable source lets you select these parameters at purchase and later replace the lamp without replacing the complete fitting.

A single light point with a restrained outline

The uninterrupted cylinder, single-colour finish and absence of decorative arms support modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. Light emerges from the lower opening, not along the whole length of the tube. Plan it as an individual light point rather than a linear LED light. Its elongated silhouette remains a visible part of the room when switched off.
