The PROFILE L CONNECTOR 9455 is a black corner connector for Nowodvorski's single-circuit PROFILE track system. It joins two track sections at a right angle, so the run can turn a corner, for example at the corner of a room, while power passes on through the connector's copper contacts.
What it works with
The connector is made for the PROFILE system running on ~220–230 V. In the black version of the system it fits PROFILE TRACK 1 m (code 9448) and 2 m (9452) sections; for white track the manufacturer offers a white equivalent, code 9456. The connector does not feed power into the track itself — that takes a separate feed element such as the PROFILE POWER END CAP (9463), and the open end of the run is closed with a PROFILE DEAD END CAP (9458).
Installation and construction
According to the manufacturer's instructions, the system's parts push together: loosen the connector's fixing screws before sliding it into the track ends, then tighten them again. Each arm measures 7 cm from the outer edge and is 3.5 cm wide.
The body is PC plastic and the conducting parts are copper and steel. It is a class I accessory intended for indoor use only — the track installation needs a protective earth conductor, and the manufacturer reserves the mains connection for a qualified electrician.
