The Oppland 1321GR is a cylindrical bollard light 12 cm in diameter and 85 cm high, with a slanted cut-out below the top edge that holds the diffuser. The cast-aluminium body is powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016.
How much light it gives and where
The diffuser of clear, textured, UV-stabilised polycarbonate spreads the light in a downward hemisphere, and ULOR is 0 %, so nothing shines into the sky or into windows. The 6.1 W Cree module produces 984 lm, but the shielded design lets 304 lm out of the luminaire, drawing 8.2 W. It marks a path and lights the ground around it rather than a whole yard.
3000 K is a warm white. SDCM1 means bollards in a row glow in the same shade of white, and flicker values of Pst ≤1 and SVM ≤0.4 mean no visible flicker or stroboscopic effect. The light dims on an ordinary TRIAC phase dimmer, either trailing-edge or leading-edge.
Mounting and connection
The bollard is fixed with three bolts through ø9 mm holes set at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. Mounting adapters, the ground anchor, the concreting anchor and the concrete-foundation adapter are not included and are bought separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², further lights can be looped through at the same cross-section, and the gland accepts round cable in the ø4–8, ø8–12 or ø10–13.6 mm range.
The light is protection class II, so it needs no earth conductor. The manufacturer allows up to 50 of these bollards on one B16 circuit breaker. It weighs 5 kg.
Lifetime and service
IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, for use outdoors without cover, and IK09 a high impact resistance. The operating temperature range is −20 to +45 °C. The manufacturer states an L80 lifetime of over 102,000 h and L90 of over 52,600 h. The LED module and driver are replaced only by a professional service.
Where it fits
Norlys intends the Oppland for private grounds and architectural schemes. The bollard suits gardens, terraces and driveways, hotel and restaurant grounds and lanes. The plain graphite cylinder without ornament is a modern form in a Scandinavian spirit.
