The CHAMONIX 7061 is a square outdoor luminaire measuring 16,8 cm a side, finished in white RAL 9010. A flat opal cover sits in an aluminium frame, and a second open frame runs around it standing clear of the panel, so the body has visible depth rather than a flat face. The maker intends it for a wall or a ceiling.
How much room it takes and how it is fixed
The face measures 16,8 x 16,8 cm, roughly a halved sheet of A5, and the fitting stands 10 cm off the wall. That second figure is what matters in a narrow passage or above a door: it is how far the cover reaches into the clear opening.
The fitting weighs 1,22 kg, so an ordinary plug in masonry or render carries it without any supporting frame. The same square base lets it go on the ceiling of a porch or an archway.
The light it gives
The built-in 9 W LED module delivers 725 lm, roughly what a former 60 W incandescent gave. The colour is chosen on a switch: 2700 K is warm and distinctly yellow, 3200 K sits between, and 4000 K is a neutral white. One fitting therefore covers both a warm entrance and the cooler light wanted at a drive.
Colour rendering is Ra 80. The opal cover spreads the light across the whole face rather than in a single beam, so the fitting also lifts the wall around it. The LED module cannot be changed - the maker lists it as non-replaceable - and the luminaire does not dim.
Weather resistance and wiring
IP65 means fully dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the fitting can hang on an unsheltered facade. The housing is aluminium and the cover polycarbonate.
The luminaire is protection class I, which means a PE conductor has to reach the box - a two-core supply is not enough. It runs on 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz. The maker gives a five-year warranty.
