Lillehammer 1584CB is an outdoor wall light shaped as a slim, upright box that shines only downwards, in a very narrow 4° beam. The cast-aluminium body is powder-coated in copper brown RAL 8004, and the light leaves through a pane of optical safety glass.

What light it gives

The 2.8 W Cree LED module produces 504 lm, but 15 lm leave the fitting, and the whole luminaire draws 4 W. The 4° optic focuses the light into a thin, sharp line on the wall below – an accent on the façade, not lighting for an entrance or terrace. If you need light to walk by, this fitting will not provide it. ULOR is 0% and the BUG rating B0-U0-G0, so nothing shines into the sky.

3000 K is a warm white, CRI is 80, and the SDCM3 tolerance means several lights in a row draw lines of the same shade. Flicker Pst LM ≤1 and stroboscopic effect SVM ≤0.4 mean no flicker visible to the eye. Norlys states L80 above 102,000 h and L90 above 52,600 h.

Dimming and service

The fitting has a Philips Xitanium TE driver and can be phase-dimmed with a trailing-edge (TE) dimmer only. A leading-edge dimmer, the type made for incandescent lamps and transformers, is not intended for it. The LED module is replaced only by a professional service (repair kit ZS1584zx0017), while the driver can be replaced by the user.

Dimensions and mounting

The light is 18.5 cm high and 8 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall; it weighs 1.57 kg. It is fixed through two ø5 mm holes spaced 45 × 130 mm, following the supplied instructions. The terminals take cables up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow loop-through to the next fitting (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²); the cable entry takes round cable of ø7–10.5 mm. It is protection class I, so the circuit needs a protective earth.

IP65 allows mounting on a wall without a canopy, IK08 protects it against accidental knocks, and the operating range is −20…+45 °C. The gasket is silicone and the cable gland EPDM. Norlys intends it for lighting wall surfaces, façades and architectural details.
