Vasa 127 is a half-cylinder outdoor wall light: 31 cm wide, 12.5 cm high and projecting 15.5 cm from the wall. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. A clear, textured UV-stabilised polycarbonate diffuser closes the top and bottom faces, so light leaves upwards and downwards at the same time.

Light source included

The box contains a Philips MASTER LEDbulb DT 5.9 W lamp with an E27 base in A60 shape and 2700 K colour temperature — warm, slightly yellow light. The lamp itself produces 806 lm and 384 lm leaves the fitting; the rest stays in the diffuser and body. The user can replace the lamp, but a replacement must fit the A55–A60 size, as a larger bulb will not fit under the diffuser.

The fitting can be dimmed with a trailing-edge or leading-edge phase dimmer, provided the lamp inside is dimmable.

How it lights the wall

The maker quotes a ULOR of 50% and a BUG rating of B0-U3-G0: half the light goes up, half goes down and almost none goes sideways. On a façade that gives two bright bands above and below the fitting rather than broad light around it. Norlys designs it for lighting walls, façades and other architectural schemes.

Installation and durability

It fixes either through a mounting plate with two 5 × 10 mm adjustment slots at 45 mm spacing, or directly through two ø5 mm holes at 68 mm spacing. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and round-sheathed cable ø7–10.5 mm, and the fitting can be looped through (up to 3 × 1.5 mm²), so several lights on one wall run from one supply. Protection class I requires an earth conductor.

IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets; IK08 means resistance to a 5 J impact. The gasket is silicone, the cable gland EPDM, and the fitting weighs 2.45 kg.
