Nowodvorski ASSOS 9123 is a black outdoor wall light for surface mounting. The body is a small cube of painted aluminium, and the manufacturer photograph shows a round lamp opening on the lower face behind glass. Black is the stated main colour and transparent is the complementary colour.
8 cm high, 9.2 cm off the wall
The fitting is 8 cm high and 6.8 cm wide, and it projects 9.2 cm from the wall. Compare those figures with the pier, recess or stretch of facade you have in mind, not only with the packshot. The 9.2 cm projection is the clearance the body occupies away from the wall. Beside a door or on a narrow landing, measure that clearance on site, because the photograph does not show how much passage remains.
The dimension drawing shows one compact body, with no arm and no second shade. The full 8 cm height belongs to the wall fitting, not to the lamp opening alone.
One GU10 lamp, bought separately
ASSOS 9123 has one light point and a GU10 lampholder. The manufacturer specifies GU10 R50 lamps, a maximum of 10 W, and LED only. That ceiling is not the fitting’s fixed power draw. No lamp is included, and the lamp is replaceable. Brightness and colour temperature follow the lamp you choose, so the black body does not decide whether the light will be warm or neutral.
Supply is about 220–230 V at 50/60 Hz. Protection class I means the circuit needs a protective earth. The card does not state luminaire lumens or beam angle, because both come from the purchased lamp rather than from the housing.
IP54 and direct outdoor mounting
The manufacturer designates the fitting as outdoor and states IP54. In the ordinary meaning of that code, the housing is protected against limited dust ingress and against water splashes from any direction. That is not a claim of immersion, frost resistance or UV resistance. IP54 by itself does not place this model in a bathroom zone, and the card does not name one.
Mounting is direct and on the surface. The package contains the fitting, instructions and a mounting kit. Net weight is 0.29 kg and gross weight is 0.4 kg. The card gives China as the country of origin.
A black cube for the facade
The manufacturer calls the style modern. The plain black cube and single lower aperture suit a facade, terrace, balcony or a position above a door, provided the wall can take direct mounting and the 9.2 cm projection still leaves the passage you need.
