PARA CONE 14 is a small track pendant shaped like an inverted cone, 13.5 cm across and 14 cm high. The shade is steel, black on the outside and gold inside the cone. The track adapter, also black, is included.

Which track it fits and how low it hangs

The fitting is made for the 3-phase mains-voltage track of the SLV / Eutrac system, running at 220-240 V. The adapter does not fit a single-circuit track or a low-voltage magnetic system, so the track already on the ceiling is worth checking before ordering.

The suspension is 150 cm long, which brings the shade down from a normal ceiling to over a counter or worktop. The whole fitting weighs 0.454 kg, so several can be spaced along one track without approaching its load limit.

The lamp you have to buy separately

There is one GU10 socket for a QPAR51 reflector lamp of up to 35 W. No lamp is supplied, so the colour temperature and the beam angle are chosen with it. The fitting has no driver of its own, so dimming depends on the lamp and the dimmer; it does not support DALI.

The conical shade is opaque and sends all of the light downwards, and the gold interior gives the reflected light a warmer tone than a white or silver one would.

Build and connection

The body is steel throughout, with no plastic on show. It is a class II fitting and needs no earth conductor — power and support both come from the adapter clipped into the track.

SLV specifies it for indoor use, so it should not work outdoors or in damp rooms. Installation is a matter of pushing the adapter into the track and turning the lock, with no work on the wiring.
