Sigma NEMO 3 black ceiling light 40885
Sigma NEMO 3 is a black ceiling light with a deliberately pared-back, technical outline. Its round ceiling canopy supports three slender arms of different lengths, giving the fitting a more layered presence than a flat ceiling disc. Each arm ends in a cylindrical shade with a pale front. The product image shows the shades aimed in different directions, a useful detail when several points within one part of a room need their own light.
The body is made from black painted steel. At 35 cm high with an 18 × 18 cm footprint, NEMO 3 stays compact at the ceiling while retaining a vertical accent. The black metal finish can bring definition to a scheme with simple furniture, graphite details or strongly grained wood.
Three adjustable light points
The fitting takes three replaceable GX53 lamps; the manufacturer specifies a maximum of 3 × 12 W LED. Lamps are not supplied, so the chosen light colour and output can follow the task at hand. Movable shades make it easier to direct light towards a table, worktop, section of wall or passage without repositioning the whole fitting.
