Alford Place is an outdoor Hinkley wall light offered by Quintiesse, shaped as a black lantern with a glazed roof. The die-cast aluminium frame in Museum Black surrounds clear panes and one visible bulb. The detail above the roof and the tapering body give it a traditional lantern form.
Dimensions against the facade
The fitting is 30 cm high, 16.5 cm wide and projects 13.8 cm from the wall. Compare these measurements with the space beside a door, corner or walkway. The fitting itself weighs 1.32 kg; consider this load and the wall material when choosing fixings.
This is a wall-mounted lantern. The decorative element above the roof remains part of the fitting attached to the wall. Traditional frame divisions and black finish support a classic exterior, with facade and outdoor lighting as its intended applications.
One E27 bulb, supplied separately
The fitting takes one E27 bulb up to 40 W or an LED equivalent. A bulb is not included. Brightness and light colour depend on the source you choose, so the permitted wattage does not specify a fixed power consumption or a particular colour of light.
The clear panes and glass roof leave the bulb visible, making its shape relevant even when the wall light is off. Dimming requires a dimmable bulb and a compatible dimmer; the fitting is designed to work with such a source.
Connection and use
The lantern is intended for installation on exterior walls. IP44 provides protection against splashing water, useful beside an entrance or on a terrace facade. It operates from a 220–240 V mains supply. Class I construction requires a protective earth connection, which needs to be considered when preparing the electrical installation.
