Quintiesse Kimrose mini pendant 1×E27, polished nickel, QN-KIMROSE-MP-PN

Quintiesse Kimrose QN-KIMROSE-MP-PN is a small pendant for one E27 lamp, finished in polished nickel. A short cage of steel bars sits above a clear glass cylinder with vertical fluting. The body is 593 mm high and 178 mm across. The manufacturer places the family in Art Deco: the form is geometric, not a plain drum shade.

Drop after installation

593 mm is the height of the fitting itself, not the distance from the ceiling. The lowest point is set at installation between 698 mm and 1765 mm, using one 152 mm rod and three 305 mm rods. Over a table about 75 cm high, subtract the table and the clearance you want above it, often about 70–80 cm, and compare that with your ceiling. The lowest setting still has to clear head height.

Light source

One E27 cap, 220–240 V at 50 Hz, Class I, so the circuit needs a protective earth. Maximum lamp power is 60 W. There is no integrated LED. Neither the lamp nor a dimmer is included. A dimmable E27 lamp works if you buy one and add a compatible dimmer. The photographed bulb is not part of the carton.

What arrives

The shade is clear glass with vertical grooves and can be removed if you want light without that ribbing. The lamp weighs 2.9 kg, the packed weight is 3.70 kg, and the carton measures 51.4 × 25.7 × 26.3 cm. A general 2-year guarantee applies. Polished nickel is the steel finish, not the colour of the glass.

Where this diameter makes sense

The product card specifies interior use only and gives no IP rating. Do not plan it for a bathroom, a wet zone, or outdoors. A 178 mm diameter lights a small area: a narrow island, a small table, a console, or a hallway. As the only light over a large table it will be too small. Hang it there only if the ceiling-to-bottom distance falls within 698–1765 mm.

Form

Vertical bars, a fluted cylinder and polished nickel are the Art Deco cues. Quintiesse links the family to Art Deco detailing on the Madison Belmont Building in New York — a note about the form, not a required room.
