ECROU pendant lamp - Matte black QUINTIESSE

Ecrou by Quintiesse is a single pendant with a matte black steel body and an elongated, clear hand-blown glass shade. Its outline recalls an acorn, while the lower glass section has a pronounced texture inspired by wood grain. The smooth dark metal and irregular transparent surface give the narrow fitting two distinct visual parts.

Choose the drop during installation

The fitting is 61.5 cm high and 16.5 cm in diameter; the glass shade itself is 30.5 cm high. Its overall drop from the ceiling can be set between 70 and 265.5 cm when installed. A 2 m cable is supplied, and the manufacturer permits it to be cut to length. This adjustment is an installation decision rather than an everyday height-control mechanism.

Compare the available drop with your ceiling height and whatever sits beneath the pendant. Above a dining table or kitchen island, check the distance from the tip of the glass to the surface. In a circulation area, allow space for people to pass beneath it. The ceiling canopy measures 14 cm across and 2.5 cm high.

A replaceable LED bulb is included

The package includes one 8 W GU10 LED bulb with a colour temperature of 3000 K and a light output of 560 lm. This is a warm white source, not an integrated LED module. When replacing it, retain the GU10 fitting and observe the maximum permitted LED wattage of 10 W.

The supplied bulb is dimmable, and the pendant is compatible with dimmable lamps. Brightness control requires a suitable compatible dimmer. The 560 lm figure describes the bulb rather than a declared output for the complete luminaire.

One pendant or a repeated arrangement

The manufacturer also proposes hanging several separate fittings as a larger installation. The slim outline can form a repeated arrangement above a table, while one pendant can provide a visual accent in a living room or bedroom.
