Kimrose chandelier - 6 light sources - Polished nickel Quintiesse

Kimrose QN-KIMROSE6-PN is a six-light chandelier from the Kichler collection offered by Quintiesse. Its steel frame has a polished nickel finish, with a clear, vertically fluted glass cylinder around each lamp position. Stepped outlines rise around the centre stem, giving the fitting an Art Deco character without crystal drops.

Allow for the arms and the hanging height

The chandelier measures 686 mm across its outstretched arms. Compare that diameter with the width of a dining table, or with the available space around a central position in a living room. Its broad outline is an important part of the design: this is not a small fitting intended to sit close against the ceiling.

The body itself is 526 mm high, which must not be confused with the installed drop. The distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the fitting ranges from 631 to 1698 mm. Four rods are supplied: one measuring 152 mm and three measuring 305 mm each. The height is selected during installation, so check the ceiling height and the clearance needed underneath before choosing a position.

Choose six E14 lamps separately

There are six E14 sockets, and lamps are not included. The manufacturer specifies a maximum wattage of 40 W per lamp. The lamps you choose determine the light colour and output; the illuminated photographs do not establish a supplied colour temperature or brightness.

The fitting is compatible with dimmable lamps. If brightness adjustment is required, select compatible lamps and controls rather than assuming every E14 lamp will dim. Clear glass leaves the lamp shapes visible, while the vertical fluting affects light passing through the shades. The manufacturer also permits the shades to be removed for an appearance without that effect. Removing glass does not regulate electrical power.

Geometry for an interior setting

The six-arm arrangement works as an overhead chandelier above a dining table or in a living room. Polished metal, repeated glass cylinders and the stepped centre suit Art Deco and modern classic interiors. In a hallway or bedroom, available headroom is particularly important when deciding whether the suspended form fits. This version is specified for interior use. It is a Class I fitting and requires a protective-earth connection.
