KICK II is a wall-recessed orientation luminaire with a round white face 5 cm across. The disc is matt and grainy. Two opposite sickle-shaped cut-outs send light two ways — on the night shot, up and down the wall. The body disappears into the opening, so after fitting you mostly see the disc.
How large it is and where it sits
The face is 5 cm in diameter. The mounting hole is round and 4 cm, so the front covers the hole edge. Recess depth is 8 cm and the whole fitting is 9 cm high — the wall or the insulation layer must leave that much room for the sleeve.
The body shot shows a black mounting sleeve and a metal cylinder with a cable. The luminaire weighs 0.21 kg. The manufacturer intends wall mounting outdoors: at an entrance, on a facade, in the garden and in hotel buildings.
How much light it gives
The built-in LED draws 3 W and gives 120 lm. That is marker brightness: it picks out a wall edge, a path or a door, and does not replace terrace lighting — an old 60 W bulb was around 800 lm. 3000 K is warm white, close to a classic incandescent lamp.
The light source is included and integrated. You do not pick a bulb and you do not replace it yourself — replacing the source means replacing the whole fitting. The manufacturer states a 50 000-hour life, which matters for a luminaire buried in the wall. The energy class is F.
Outdoors and what arrives in the box
IP54 means outdoor use without an extra cover: the fitting is protected against dust and splashing water. It runs on 230 V and the transformer is in the box.
The pack contains the luminaire with the built-in LED, the mounting sleeve and the power supply. You do not need to buy a separate lamp. The KICK II series also comes in black and brushed aluminium; this article is the white version.
