Rendl KOMBIX 2 R11781 pendant suspension set, white/chrome, 2×E27 Promo CODE - LUN18 until the end of Oct 28

Rendl KOMBIX 2 R11781 is a suspension set for two lampshades, rather than a lampshade itself. It combines a white circular ceiling canopy with two metal E27 lampholders and chrome ceiling supports. Separate cable routes let you position the two light points away from the central electrical connection.

Planning the two drops

Each cable is 3 m long. Some of that length runs between the canopy and its separate ceiling support, so 300 cm is not the finished drop height of an assembled light. When planning a layout above a table or another surface, allow for both the sideways cable route and the distance between the ceiling and the lampholders.

The canopy measures 18 cm across and 3 cm high. These are canopy dimensions, not the size of the lampshades or the complete arrangement. The two supports determine where the cables turn downwards; neither lampholder has to sit directly beneath the central canopy. Compare the intended layout with the space needed by your selected shades before installation.

Choosing shades and light sources

Rendl lists ARISTA, DELI, JAKARANDA, DOUBLE 40/30 and 55/30, ASPRO 40/30 and 55/30, RON 15/20, 40/25 and 55/30, and TEMPO 15/30 and 30/19 as compatible shade accessories. Check the specific model and size rather than assuming that any shade will fit simply because the holder uses E27.

The set operates on 230 V AC and takes two replaceable E27 LED bulbs, each rated at no more than 15 W. It is not an integrated LED fitting. Light colour and output depend on the bulbs you choose, while the shades also influence distribution. Dimming is possible with suitable light sources.

Appearance and installation

The exposed cable routes and chrome lampholders give the suspension a technical character suited to modern or industrial interiors. It can form a dining-table arrangement or lighting for a selected living area; the final overall size depends on the shades. The manual requires installation by a qualified installer and disconnection of the power supply before work begins.
