MAVRO is a spotlight for a 1-circuit track: a white cylinder 5.5 cm across on a polished metal knuckle that clips into the track. The lens of the built-in LED module sits at the front — there is no lampholder on this fitting.
Which track it fits and what is in the box
The adapter fits 1-circuit 230 V tracks only. It will not go onto a 3-circuit track — Rendl sells a separate MAVRO version for those, so the track already on the ceiling decides which one to order.
The manufacturer packs both the light source and the driver, so the fitting lights up as soon as it is clipped in and nothing has to be bought separately. The LED module is built in permanently: the manufacturer quotes a lifetime of up to 40,000 hours, after which the whole fitting is replaced rather than the source.
How much light it gives and how to aim it
The module draws 12 W and delivers 1020 lumens. An old 60 W bulb corresponds to roughly 800 lumens, so MAVRO is a little brighter, but it gathers all of that output into a 38° beam. This is light for picking out one surface — a picture, a stretch of wall, a worktop, a shelf of stock — not for lighting a whole room evenly.
The colour temperature is 3000 K, warm white: yellowish, close to a traditional bulb and warmer than neutral 4000 K. The cylinder tilts through 90° and turns through 350°, so the aim is set after mounting, without sliding the adapter along the track. For dimming, Rendl offers a separate MAVRO DIMM version.
Size and finish
The cylinder is 5.5 cm in diameter and 18.5 cm long, and the complete fitting weighs 320 g. Add those 18.5 cm to the height of the track itself — in a low room the spotlight hangs that far below it.
The body is white and matt, and the knuckle is the only shiny element. Rendl offers the same spotlight in gold and in black-and-gold, so it can be matched to a track that is already up.
