The white s.luce Ball Cluster brings three metal shades, each 20 cm in diameter, together beneath one round ceiling canopy. White suspension cables continue the finish of the rounded shades. Rather than spreading its lights along a bar, this pendant groups three spherical forms into a compact composition from the Ball family.

Adjustable heads, direct and indirect light

Each lamp head can be turned and individually aligned, so the three openings do not have to face in the same direction. The open shades provide downward-directed illumination, while the characteristic light slit also allows light to escape upwards. This combination matters when choosing a pendant for a particular dining or seating area: the heads let you change the direction of the light rather than accepting three permanently fixed positions. The result will also depend on the bulbs you select.

Choose three E27 bulbs separately

There are three E27 sockets, and bulbs are not included. Brightness and colour temperature are therefore choices to make when buying the light sources, not fixed characteristics established by the warm light in the photograph. Replaceable bulbs also mean that a spent light source can be changed without replacing the complete pendant. The manufacturer permits dimming with suitable bulbs. An E27 base alone does not establish dimmability, so check both the selected bulbs and their compatibility with your lighting controls before planning a dimmed installation.

The manufacturer lists an overall arrangement width and length of 40 cm each. The 20 cm measurement refers to each individual shade, not the width of the entire cluster. Compare the complete grouping with the surface below it when planning its position. Supported uses include the dining room, kitchen, living room and hallway. Above a table, the clustered layout places three sources within one area rather than along an extended line. Repeated rounded shapes, smooth metal surfaces and the consistent white finish suit modern and minimalist interiors without introducing decorative arms or contrasting finishes.
