s.luce Orb 12-Light E27 Chandelier, Smoked Glass, Black 160 cm Canopy

The s.luce Orb in variant 179669 pairs twelve smoked-glass globes with a long black ceiling canopy. The pendants are arranged along two parallel slots, with glass diameters of 20, 30 and 40 cm. Different globe sizes and hanging levels create a three-dimensional group rather than a straight row of identical shades.

A 160 cm canopy above a dining table

The metal canopy measures 160 × 25 × 4 cm. The 160 cm dimension describes the ceiling component, not a single globe or the overall diameter of the arrangement. Compare that length with your tabletop when planning the installation, and allow room for the largest globes, which are 40 cm across.

The manufacturer specifies this two-row arrangement for dining tables and kitchen islands. It can also define the table area in an open-plan living space. As this is a substantial group of twelve shades, consider the view across the tabletop as well as the position of the ceiling supply when deciding where it should hang.

Position the globes and choose the light sources

The s.luce Modular system allows adjustment of the suspension positions within the slots and of the individual globe heights. The stated maximum suspension for this set is 150 cm. Check that measurement against your ceiling height and the intended position of the lowest shade before settling on the arrangement.

There are twelve E27 sockets, and bulbs are not included. Brightness and light colour therefore depend on the separately chosen light sources rather than a fixed integrated LED module. The smoked glass leaves the bulbs visible, making their appearance part of the composition. Dimming requires suitable dimmable bulbs and compatible control equipment.

Smoked glass with a restrained black structure

Smooth spheres, slim black suspensions and the plain linear canopy give the fitting a modern, minimalist character. The mixed globe sizes add volume without the ornamental arms of a traditional chandelier. Variant 179669 has smoked glass and a black suspension assembly; photographs of other colours in the Orb family do not change the colour combination supplied for this specific variant.
