Sigma Albert 2 – a black pendant with a long mesh frame

Albert 2 32175 combines a clean horizontal outline with details associated with loft-style lighting. Two bulbs are arranged side by side inside a rectangular frame. Fine metal mesh closes the sides without concealing the light sources, giving the open structure a defined boundary. Black painted steel unifies the shade, upper rails, short supports and slim rectangular ceiling canopy. Two suspension cables complete the balanced, strongly graphic composition.

At 40 cm wide, the pendant can form a focused feature above a compact dining table, kitchen island or selected seating area. Its 16 cm depth keeps the profile narrow, allowing it to sit over furniture without introducing an oversized volume. The hanging height is adjustable, so the frame can be positioned in relation to the ceiling and the surface below. Because the bulbs remain clearly visible, their design becomes part of the fitting. A matching pair of clear globes with decorative filaments will reinforce the industrial character, while frosted lamps will make the light sources less visually prominent.

Choose two E27 bulbs to suit the setting

Albert 2 takes two replaceable E27 lamps, which are not supplied. This leaves the colour temperature, brightness and bulb shape to be selected for the intended room and task. The manufacturer states a maximum per socket of 60 W for a conventional lamp or 15 W for LED. Using two identical bulbs helps maintain the deliberate symmetry and produces a more consistent appearance across the length of the fixture.
