The SLV NUMINOS PD DALI L is a hanging cylinder 10 cm across and 21.3 cm tall in matt black, suspended on a black cable 250 cm long. The ceiling rose measures 10.3 cm across and is surface-mounted. The source is a built-in LED module whose lens sits deep inside the body.

How large it is and how it hangs

The body alone takes up 21.3 cm of height and the supporting cable measures 250 cm — compare that length with your own ceiling height and with where the bottom edge should end up. Over a table top the usual clearance is 70–80 cm.

The fitting weighs 1.474 kg, and the 10.3 cm rose covers a standard installation box. IP20 means dry indoor rooms only.

The light it gives and where it goes

The LED module delivers 2600 lm for 20 W — about three times what an old 60 W bulb gave — and SLV quotes an efficiency of 136.84 lm/W for this fitting. 4000 K is neutral white with no yellow tone, and CRI 90 means colours under it look close to how they look in daylight.

The beam is 60°, which is wide for a cylinder of this kind: the light goes downwards and covers the whole area below the fitting instead of cutting a narrow circle. The lens is recessed into the body, so the source is not visible from beside it. The stated module life is 50,000 h.

Dimming and connection

The fitting dims to the DALI standard and also in Touch mode from an ordinary push button — the first needs a control bus, the second does not. The driver is inside, so the light connects straight to 200–240 V; the module's secondary current is 500 mA.

It is insulation class I, so the circuit needs an earth conductor. SLV states that 94 of these fittings fit on one circuit behind a B16A or C16A breaker, which is the figure that counts when a larger installation is planned.
