The GRAZIA FLEXSTRIP 1004708 is a flexible LED strip on a 5 m reel, 1 cm wide and 1.2 mm thick. The LEDs sit in a single row 1.4 cm apart on a white tape, and the maker has factory-soldered a two-core lead with stripped ends to one end. The back of the tape is self-adhesive.
How much light it gives and in what colour
The whole reel delivers 3500 lm for 44 W drawn, roughly 700 lm per metre. That is task-light level: under kitchen wall units a metre of this tape lights the worktop harder than a typical under-cabinet batten, and in a wardrobe it is enough to tell shades of clothing apart.
2700 K is warm, slightly yellow light close to an old incandescent bulb. It is fixed — the tape has no colour switch. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means colours look almost as they do in daylight, which is exactly what matters over a worktop and in a wardrobe. A binning of 3 SDCM means successive runs of the same tape do not differ visibly in tone.
The beam angle is 120°, so the light spreads wide and without a hard edge — mounted directly under a cupboard the row of individual LEDs is visible, which is why the maker intends the tape for the GRAZIA profiles, whose cover blurs it.
Cutting and mounting
The tape can be shortened every 10 cm at the points marked on the laminate — after a cut, that section needs its own wire, because the factory-soldered lead stays with one piece only. The 1 cm width fits the GRAZIA profiles.
The maker intends surface mounting on a ceiling or a wall. Ambient temperature may run from −20 °C to 45 °C, and IP20 confines the tape to dry interiors — it is not suitable for the area around a shower or for outdoor use.
What has to be bought as well
The tape works in protection class III on 24 V DC safety extra-low voltage, so it is never wired straight to the mains. No driver is included: it has to be a 24 V DC unit rated at least 44 W if the full 5 m reel is to run.
The maker declares 30,000 h of service life and 15,000 switching cycles. The LEDs are permanently soldered and cannot be replaced one by one.
