TOUCH is a touch switch with a PWM dimmer built as a 55 × 10 mm circuit board that is mounted inside an LED profile. The board carries a metal plate that acts as the touch pad and a single indicator LED. Red and black leads come out of one end, red and white leads to the strip out of the other.
Which strips it works with and how many
The module works with single-colour LED strips powered at 12 V DC or 24 V DC. At 12 V it takes up to 5 A, i.e. 60 W, and at 24 V up to 3 A, i.e. 72 W. Compare that budget with the strip's watts per metre multiplied by the length of the run: the manufacturer states that about 6 m of a dense 600 LED 3528 strip rated at 9.6 W/m can be connected.
The board is 10 mm wide, so it fits LUMINES aluminium profiles with an internal width of more than 10 mm.
How the touch works through the cover
The light is switched on and off by touching the profile cover at the spot where the plate sits underneath — there is no button on the outside, and the indicator LED lights up that spot so it is easy to find. Holding it for more than 2 seconds starts brightness adjustment, signalled by the LED blinking.
The plate has to reach higher than the gap between the surface the strip is stuck to and the cover. Check that figure on the cross-section of the profile you choose before buying, because it decides whether the touch is detected.
What else you need
The module switches and dims the power but does not generate it: a separate 12 V or 24 V DC power supply is needed, plus the LED strip and a profile with a cover. The board is rated IP20 and has no housing, so it belongs inside a profile in a dry room, for example above a kitchen worktop. The same family also includes versions without dimming and with a DELAY OFF function.
