The Trio DUOLINE 703587 is a titanium-coloured adapter for connecting a conventional pendant light to the two-phase DUOLINE track system. It is a connection component, not a light fitting that illuminates a room on its own. A cable links the upper track connection to an elongated plastic cover below.
Check the pendant before choosing the adapter
The pendant you connect must be protection class II. It must also meet both of the manufacturer's limits: a maximum power of 60 W and a maximum weight of 2 kg. A low-wattage bulb does not make an overweight pendant compatible. Before ordering, compare the pendant manufacturer's power and weight figures with these limits and check its protection-class marking.
The 60 W rating is the permitted power of the connected light, not light output produced by the adapter. Brightness, colour temperature and distribution depend on the separately chosen pendant and its light source. This accessory does not replace either the pendant or the other components needed for a complete track installation.
Assigning the light to a DUOLINE circuit
The adapter is intended for DUOLINE operating at 230 V, 50 Hz. Its installation drawing shows how it fits into the track and how to select phase 1 or phase 2. This assigns the connected pendant to the chosen system group. The connection alone does not make a non-dimmable light dimmable: the light source and controls still need to support the intended operation.
Allow for the adapter's dimensions
Overall height is 34.5 cm, with a width of 6 cm and depth of 3 cm. Consider these dimensions alongside the pendant's own suspension when planning its position below the ceiling. The narrow rectangular cover and titanium tone suit the track's restrained, modern geometry. This is a ceiling-mounting accessory whose visible finish can be coordinated with the remaining DUOLINE components.
