Trio HOOSIC 422260132 bollard light with motion sensor, matt black

Trio HOOSIC 422260132 is a matt black bollard light with an integrated motion sensor. Its slim die-cast aluminium cylinder is topped by a smoke-coloured plastic cover that leaves the bulb visible. A round base and the small sensor on the front keep the silhouette simple rather than resembling an ornamental garden lantern.

An 80 cm bollard beside the path

This version stands 80 cm high and has a 12 cm diameter base. The manufacturer's drawing also specifies an 8.5 cm diameter for the upper body, so the overall diameter does not describe a column of uniform width. When choosing a position, compare the base footprint with the space beside the path and keep the walking route clear.

This is a fitting for fixed installation and connection, not a portable garden lamp. Plan for a 230 V supply and the protective earth connection required by protection class I before preparing its location.

Choose one E27 bulb separately

The single E27 socket accepts a light source rated at no more than 28 W. No bulb is included. That wattage is the permitted lamp limit, not a fixed operating consumption for the finished fitting. Brightness, light colour and actual power use will depend on the bulb you select.

The smoke-coloured cover keeps the source visible, making bulb shape relevant even when the light is off. The illuminated photograph shows a possible presentation, not an included bulb or a guaranteed colour temperature.

Movement-triggered outdoor lighting

The integrated sensor switches the light on automatically when it detects movement. The manufacturer identifies house entrances, stairways and garden paths as intended locations. The IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water; it does not make the fitting suitable for immersion. Matt black metal, a smooth cylindrical body and the smoked upper section suit modern, modernist and minimalist outdoor layouts.
