Trio LORENZO 283500132 mirror light, matt black, 1 × GU10, IP44

Trio LORENZO 283500132 is a matt black mirror light with one GU10 lampholder. Its metal body combines a short arm with a cylindrical head that turns to redirect the light. The exposed bulb remains a visible part of the finished fitting.

Check the mirror edge before ordering

The mounting arrangement is an important distinction here. The instructions show a bracket that slides over the edge of a mirror and is secured with a screw, accepting a maximum thickness of 5 mm. This is not a conventional wall light with a backplate screwed directly to the wall. Compare the thickness of your mirror and access to its top edge with the illustrated bracket before choosing this version.

The cylindrical head body measures 5.4 cm high and 3.3 cm in diameter; the dimension from the head to the rear of the bracket is 10.1 cm. In the technical drawing, the bulb extends beyond the body, so allow separately for the dimensions of the bulb you select. The drawing also specifies 18 cm of cable between the bracket and connector.

A replaceable light source

No bulb is supplied. Choose one GU10 bulb rated at no more than 5 W; the manufacturer recommends LED. Brightness, colour temperature and beam angle depend on that bulb rather than on the black fitting itself. Turning the head lets you direct the light towards a selected area beside the mirror without moving the mounting bracket.

Bathroom use and restrained styling

LORENZO is intended for indoor use, with the manufacturer specifically identifying bathroom mirrors. Its IP44 rating provides protection against splashing water, but the installation position must still meet the requirements of the relevant bathroom zone. The supply is 230 V and the instructions specify protection class II. Matt black metal, the short arm and the absence of a decorative shade give the fitting a modern, minimalist appearance. Check both the visible proportions and provision for the electrical connection when planning its position above the mirror.
