Trio MACKENZIE 430561142 LED bollard light, anthracite, 95 cm

Trio MACKENZIE 430561142 is an anthracite garden bollard with a cylindrical stem and a broad, circular head. A pale diffuser band sits beneath the dark cap, contrasting with the die-cast aluminium body. This is the 95 cm version, intended for fixed installation beside paths, driveways and garden areas.

Allow room for the head and mounting base

The head measures 16.5 cm in diameter. When choosing a position, allow for this wider upper section rather than judging clearance from the slender stem alone. Compare the 95 cm height with nearby planting, low walls or a terrace edge before marking the fixing point. Place the bollard alongside a route, not within the space needed for people to pass.

The photographs show a circular fixing plate at the foot. This is not a portable lamp that can simply be set down on soil. The installation manual shows fastening to a prepared surface and connection to the electrical installation. Both the mounting position and the power supply therefore need to be considered before fitting.

Included LED light with no bulb to select

The integrated SMD LED source is included and rated at 8 W. TRIO specifies a source luminous flux of 800 lm and a colour temperature of 3000 K, giving warm-white light. There is no separate screw-base bulb to choose. The fitting is not dimmable and is unsuitable for an external dimmer, so brightness adjustment should not be assumed when planning its controls.

Outdoor installation and restrained styling

MACKENZIE operates on 230 V and is a Class I fitting requiring a protective earth connection. IP54 provides protection against splashing water and limited dust ingress, not immersion. The manual shows the base above ground level: it should not be buried or covered with soil.

The smooth stem, flat cap and absence of ornamental arms give the light a modern, minimalist appearance. It suits a simply arranged garden or terrace boundary where a clear cylindrical form is wanted. Determine the number and spacing of bollards through a lighting plan for the actual area; the output of one source does not establish coverage on its own.
