Trio MAYENNE outdoor wall lamp

Trio MAYENNE 218560235 is an outdoor wall light with upward and downward illumination. Its rectangular die-cast aluminium body has a wood-effect finish. The visible grain is part of that finish, not evidence of a timber housing. A broad closed front conceals the lamps from a straight-on view, while light exits through the upper and lower parts of the fitting.

A wall wash above and below the fitting

The two-way distribution highlights the wall on either side of the horizontal body. Consider it for a facade beside a terrace, balcony or entrance when you want light travelling along the wall rather than an exposed bulb. Its plain box shape, without decorative arms, supports modern and minimalist schemes. The wood-effect pattern gives the otherwise restrained form a distinct visual feature.

Choose two E14 bulbs separately

This fitting takes two E14 bulbs, which are not included. The current manufacturer's instructions specify a maximum of 10 W per bulb and a 230 V supply. Check both the cap type and the permitted wattage when choosing lamps: an E14 designation alone does not settle both requirements.

Brightness and colour temperature depend on the bulbs you select. MAYENNE is not an integrated LED fitting with one fixed light colour. The illuminated product photograph demonstrates the direction of light, but does not define the output or colour temperature of separately purchased bulbs.

Check the space around the mounting position

MAYENNE is intended for wall mounting only. It measures 25 cm across and 11 cm high, with a projection of 10 cm. Compare that projection with the clearance beside a doorway or passage before selecting its position. IP44 provides protection against splashing water; it does not mean protection against immersion or pressure jets. Plan the facade lighting around the conditions at the actual mounting point, as well as the space occupied by the body.
