Trio TAGUS 238569142 anthracite LED outdoor wall light with motion sensor

Trio TAGUS 238569142 is an anthracite outdoor wall light with a diecast aluminium body, a cylindrical illuminated section and a motion sensor on the front. Its clear enclosure reveals the central light-diffusing form. This is a contemporary interpretation of a wall lantern, with an enclosed light chamber above a plain lower housing.

Orientation light between motion detections

This version combines a motion sensor with an orientation-light function. At dusk or in darkness it can provide approximately 10% brightness, switching to full brightness when movement is detected nearby. Lighting duration and sensitivity are adjustable. At an entrance, that distinction matters: a low background light can remain between activations rather than the fitting operating continuously at the same output.

Multi-Control enables the sensor-equipped fitting to control a limited number of additional compatible lights. It does not imply compatibility with any other wall light; the installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions. The connection compartment also accommodates onward wiring to further fittings, which is useful when planning several lighting points along a facade.

Choose the colour temperature at the fitting

The integrated 13 W LED source has a stated output of 1500 lm. A DIP switch selects 2200, 3000 or 4000 K, changing the light from very warm to neutral white without choosing a separate bulb. This is a setting made directly at the luminaire, not a remote-control function. A light-level setting is also available.

Check the projection beside doors

TAGUS is suitable for wall mounting only. It measures approximately 24 cm high and 12 cm wide, with a 20.3 cm projection that needs to be allowed for beside doors and pedestrian routes. Its IP54 rating supports outdoor use on house facades, at entrances and on terrace walls. The anthracite finish, cylindrical outline and unornamented housing suit modern architecture rather than an ornate traditional lantern scheme.
