TRUNCADO Floor Lamp by Luces Exclusivas LE44951

TRUNCADO LE44951 by Luces Exclusivas is a black floor lamp with a slender upright stem, a circular base and a flat, disc-shaped head. The pale illuminated surface contrasts with the black rim. The manufacturer specifies aluminium and acrylic in its construction; the design relies on simple geometry rather than a large fabric shade.

Allow for its full height

At 205 cm tall, this is a high freestanding lamp rather than a compact bedside light. Compare that measurement with your ceiling height and nearby furniture before choosing its position. The manufacturer's drawing shows a 25 cm base diameter and a 27 cm head diameter. The base alone does not describe all the space needed: allow for the upper section and the route of the cable visible in the photographs.

Beside a sofa or armchair, keep the walking route clear. In a bedroom, consider the lamp's height alongside the bed and wardrobe instead of planning for it as a small table lamp. It requires no tabletop space, but it does need its own place on the floor.

The LED source is included

The lamp comes with an integrated 30 W LED source. It is not a fitting for which you choose a separate screw-in bulb, as you would with an E27 socket. The manufacturer lists 2288 lm for the source and a colour temperature of 3000 K, corresponding to warm white. Compare the colour temperatures of other fittings if you want a consistent light colour across the room.

The supply voltage is 230 V. Access to power and a cable route outside the walkway are therefore part of positioning the lamp, not just the appearance of its head against a wall.

A restrained geometric silhouette

The straight stem, low round base and disc head suit modern and minimalist interiors. TRUNCADO can supplement lighting in a living room, bedroom, study or hotel seating area. For a whole-room lighting plan, assess it alongside the other light sources: the stated lumen output alone does not establish illumination across every part of the room.
