The V-TAC VT-8143 under-cabinet luminaire is a slim, black 60 cm LED strip designed for cable-free lighting under kitchen worktops, inside cabinets or wardrobes. The aluminium body keeps the profile rigid and dissipates heat well, and its flat shape lets it sit almost out of sight beneath furniture.
Motion sensor and operating modes
A built-in infrared (PIR) sensor detects movement within roughly 3-5 m and switches the light on automatically in dark conditions, turning it off again after a short period of inactivity. A slide switch on the housing selects one of three modes: ON (always lit), OFF, and AUTO (motion-sensing operation).
Battery power, no wiring required
The luminaire runs on a built-in lithium battery charged through a USB port (5V/1A input). A full charge provides several hours of light, so the fixture can be installed without connecting to the mains. A magnetic bracket and 3M adhesive tape allow quick DIY mounting - no drilling and no electrician needed.
