SOLO BLACK is a two-light wall lamp in black metal. Two arms leave a round wall plate in opposite directions, one angled up and one down, and each ends in a wire cage holding a spherical smoked-glass globe.
How much wall it takes up
The fitting is 71 cm tall and 44 cm wide, so it occupies a sizeable piece of wall — dimensions to set against the free area above a sofa, beside a bed or between doorways. It projects 25 cm from the wall; in a narrow hallway that figure is worth comparing with the width of the passage, since the cages sit at head height.
The lamp weighs 1.6 kg with its packaging, so it hangs on ordinary plugs chosen to suit the wall material. The supply connection is hidden by the round plate in the middle, between the arms.
What the light is like and what you need to buy
The fitting takes two E27 bulbs of up to 60 W each. Bulbs are not included, so colour and brightness are your choice — two points aimed in opposite directions spread the light onto the wall above and below the fitting rather than into one spot.
The globes are smoked glass, that is tinted glass: it tempers the glare of the filament while leaving it visible throughout, so the light is gentler than a milky shade would give with the same bulb. The wire cage around each globe throws a shadow pattern onto the wall. The manufacturer provides no dimming.
Build and where it can go
The frame is metal finished in black, and the shades combine glass with a wire cage in the same colour. Keter Lighting lamps are made in Poland and hand-assembled from components certified to EU standards.
Its ingress rating limits the lamp to dry interiors — it is not for outdoor use or for the zone beside a shower. The exposed cage and tinted glass place it in the loft idiom; it works where the wall already carries black metal, brick or raw timber.
