The Zambelis 2081-W is a luminaire for the 48 V magnetic track system, shaped as a slim aluminium tube 3 cm across and 50 cm long. The body carries a sandy white finish. It hangs from an adjustable 100 cm cable ending in a magnetic adapter that clips into the track.

What you need for this fitting to light up

This is not a stand-alone pendant. The manufacturer states a 48 V supply voltage and safety class III, which means the fitting runs on extra-low voltage and is never wired straight to the 230 V mains. Lighting it requires a 48 V magnetic track from this system and the system driver, and neither is included.

The connection is magnetic, so the fitting is simply placed against the track and slid along it without tools and without dismantling anything. The IP20 rating covers indoor installation only.

How big it is and where it hangs

The tube itself measures 3 cm in diameter and 50 cm in length, and the 100 cm suspension cable can be shortened. That covers the range in which the lower edge of a fitting usually sits 70-80 cm above a table top, so the light reaches the surface below it.

At 3 cm across a single fitting is barely noticeable in the track, which is why several are usually hung in a row over a longer worktop. The manufacturer quotes colour consistency within 7 SDCM steps, and that is exactly what matters in such a row: neighbouring fittings emit the same shade of white, with no visible drift.

The light it gives

The module draws 7 W and delivers 431 lumens at 3000 K, warm, slightly yellow light close to a traditional incandescent bulb. This is accent light rather than room lighting: the beam angle is 24 degrees, so the cone falls narrowly on whatever sits directly below.

A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means colours under this light look almost as they do in daylight, which matters over a worktop and over a table. The light source is built in and cannot be replaced; the manufacturer quotes 30 000 hours to a 30 percent drop in output, about 27 years at three hours of use per day. The fitting does not dim - the DALI-controlled version is sold by the manufacturer under a separate code.
