This is a small reflector ring, 5 cm across, made specifically for the Zambelis S156 ceiling spot. It is not a lamp — it is a trim component that fits onto the fixture.
What it is for
The ring does two jobs at once. As an aluminium reflector it tidies up the spread of light leaving the spot, and at the same time it finishes the fixture with a black rim that visually separates it from the ceiling. The black interior also cuts the glare visible from an angle, so looking towards the source is easier on the eye than with a bare fitting.
