Zambelis S192 is a rectangular recessed spotlight with five circular optics arranged in a single row. The aluminium body has a textured sandy-black finish, with a narrow frame that emphasises the linear layout rather than adding a large decorative fitting below the ceiling.
Check the opening and the space above it
The body measures 14.7 × 4.5 × 4.2 cm. It requires a cutout of 14.2 × 3.7 cm and a minimum installation depth of 5 cm. These measurements serve different purposes: the outer frame is not the cutting template, and the height of the housing does not describe the full clearance needed. Compare each measurement with the ceiling design before ordering, especially when replacing a fitting in an existing opening.
The installation instructions show side spring clips and prohibit covering the fitting with thermal insulation. Installation and electrical connection should be carried out by an electrician. Allow for the separate driver as well as the spotlight when planning the available space.
Warm light in a short linear format
The integrated LED is rated at 12 W, with a 3000 K colour temperature and a declared light output of 800 lm. Its 36° beam concentrates light on an area rather than providing the broad distribution of a large ceiling panel. It can form individual lighting zones in a living room, bedroom or corridor; the number of fittings and their spacing depend on room size and ceiling height.
CRI 90 describes the colour rendering of illuminated objects. The black frame and repeated circular optics suit modern, minimalist interiors. An attic installation still needs the specified depth and an unobstructed mounting space, just as in any other room.
A separately purchased driver is required
S192 is not connected directly to mains voltage: the manufacturer specifies 15 V and 700 mA. The driver is not included. The current datasheet recommends KEDH012 for one fitting with On-Off operation, or FLS42D for one to two fittings using DALI control. Control therefore depends on the selected driver, not simply on buying the spotlight. Replacement of the built-in LED is restricted to the manufacturer, its service agent or a suitably qualified person.
