Argon SAGUNTO 1489 pendant light, opal white and brass, 3 × E27

Argon SAGUNTO 1489 brings three different glass shapes together in one pendant light: a rounded shade, an elongated shade and a flattened shade. Matt opal glass is paired with brass-plated steel, while black suspension cables draw clear lines down from the shared circular ceiling canopy. The design is a cluster of contrasting forms rather than three copies of the same shade.

Check the footprint and the drop

The complete arrangement measures 44 cm across and 44 cm deep, with a maximum overall height of 105 cm. The ceiling canopy is 30 cm in diameter. When planning a position above a table, compare both the footprint and the lowest shade with the space available. The staggered arrangement has a distinctly vertical outline, even though all three pendants start from one compact ceiling fitting.

Each shade also has its own proportions. The rounded shade is 20 cm in diameter and 18 cm high; the elongated one is 14 cm in diameter and 28 cm high. The flattened shade measures 30 cm across and 12 cm high. Those differences remain part of the composition when the light is off, making the glass shapes as important as the brass-coloured details.

Choose three suitably sized LED bulbs

Bulbs are not included. The fitting has three E27 sockets, and the installation instructions specify LED bulbs rated at no more than 15 W each. They also limit bulb dimensions to 50 mm wide and 105 mm high. Check the physical size as well as the cap and wattage before buying: an E27 cap alone does not guarantee that a bulb will fit inside the shade. Colour temperature and brightness depend on the bulbs you select.

A clustered pendant for a defined area

Subject to checking the hanging clearance, the grouped shades can mark out a dining or kitchen table, or provide a decorative focal point in a living room or bedroom. White opal glass, brass-coloured metal and fine black cables combine modern geometry with a glamour accent.
