ARROYOS LE44494 is a single-light pendant whose shade is built from two stacked glass elements of different shapes: clear, fluted glass on top and opal glass below. A gold-toned metal collar joins them, and the whole hangs on a thin cable under a gold cylindrical ceiling rose.
How much room it takes under the ceiling
The manufacturer's drawing splits the 120 cm overall length into three parts: 14 cm of ceiling rose, 74 cm of cable and 32 cm of shade. Shortening happens on the cable and at most by those 74 cm — the remaining 46 cm cannot be taken away.
At its widest the shade measures 17 cm, narrow for a pendant, so it does not block the view across a worktop. The rose is not a flat disc but a cylinder 6 cm across and 14 cm tall — it stays visible under the ceiling, which is worth allowing for when planning several in a row.
The light it gives
The LED module is built into the fitting: no bulb has to be bought, and none can be changed either. The manufacturer states 18 W of power draw and 2335 lumens at 3000 K, that is warm white — roughly what an old 150 W bulb gave, with the opal glass spreading it softly sideways and down.
The fitting can be dimmed, but only with a dimmer working on the TRIAC principle. Controllers for 0–10 V and DALI will not drive it, so the dimmer has to be chosen before installation.
Glass, finish and where to hang it
The two shade elements differ in transparency as well as shape: the upper one shows the structure of the glass and the inside of the fitting, the lower is opal and closes the source in. The metal parts — rose and the collar between the glasses — are gloss gold in tone.
An IP20 rating places this fitting in dry interiors only. The manufacturer puts the model in the bedroom; the narrow shade and the 120 cm drop also work in a row over a kitchen island.
