Elstead Bayview BAYVIEW-2S-BK is a small black wall lantern for outdoor use. Its aluminium body is combined with clear bevelled glass, and the visible four-sided form refers to classical Georgian design. The fitting measures 27.4 cm high, 14.2 cm wide and projects 17.9 cm from the wall.
Position on the wall
This is a wall-mounted fitting. Its 17.9 cm projection should be compared with the clear space around a doorway, balcony or terrace before installation. The manufacturer specifies IP44 for this exact model.
Light source
Bayview has one E27 lampholder and the bulb is not included. The permitted source rating is up to 60 W, so one E27 bulb within that limit must be selected separately according to the required light output. The product record states compatibility with dimmable bulbs; dimming therefore depends on the chosen bulb and installation.
Materials and visible character
The black aluminium frame and clear glass remain prominent parts of the design. Elstead specifies a three-year anti-corrosion guarantee. The lantern’s classical English character comes from its proportions, framed sides and bevelled panes, rather than from accessories not listed for this model.
