BAZAR BIZAR Bondi teak wood candy bowl, natural with black rim, 15 cm

The Bondi Candy Bowl by BAZAR BIZAR combines visible teak grain with a narrow black rim. Its rounded body tapers towards the base, leaving the natural wood colour visible both inside and out. This is article JAES014NB, the manufacturer's Natural Black version rather than an entirely black bowl.

Allowing for handmade dimensions

The nominal measurements are 15 cm long, 15 cm wide and 10 cm high. Compare these with the space on your shelf or countertop before choosing its position. The height refers to the whole bowl, not the depth of its interior. The manufacturer notes that dimensions can vary by 1–2 cm because the item is handmade.

Wood grain and colour can also differ between individual pieces. Photographs show the finish and form rather than guaranteeing an identical pattern in every bowl. The exposed timber and black outline suit boho and rustic accessories, retaining the grain as a visible part of the design.

Dry treats or small accessories

Food use is limited to dry items, such as sweets and dry snacks. This is not a serving vessel for liquid dishes. It can hold treats in a kitchen, dining room or living room. The manufacturer also recommends it for jewellery, cosmetics and other small accessories, including use in a bathroom. On a dressing table, it provides a separate place for those loose items. Even when used for storage rather than food, water should not be left standing on the wood.

Cleaning and maintaining the finish

Keep the surface clean and dry after use. For gentle washing, the manufacturer recommends mild soap and a lightly damp cloth, without soaking the bowl. Regular treatment with food-safe oil is advised for maintaining the natural finish. The bowl is not dishwasher safe and must not be used in an oven or microwave. Choose it for presenting or storing its contents, not for heating them.
